The original had Arne Jacobsen made in his own garage in Klampenborg. The upholstery of an original chair can be supplied in fabric or leather and there is a choice of multiple colors. Under the cover is a layer of cold foam for extra good comfort. Naturally, the fabric of our chairs that we offer at JustDesignClassics depends on what we have in our showroom.

Design of the Swan Chair

The Swan Chair is a lounge chair in 1958, just like the Egg Chair, which was also designed for the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen by designer Arne Jacobsen. The Swan Chair consists of only curved lines and is very elegant. The Swan chair can be covered with different types of fabric or leather, although this depends on the current range. The seat hangs slightly behind for extra comfort. The chassis is matt polished aluminum and brushed metal.
